London weddings makes my heart race just a little bit faster as they feel like an exciting big adventure from the very moment I step foot on the train heading out of rural Sussex.  Katie and Russ certainly got married in style at uber cool riverside venue Trinity Buoy Wharf right in the heart of the London Docklands .  So yeah the backdrop was not bad I suppose! But it towered into insignificance as the heart and love of the wedding radiated so much more. Katie had literally poured her heart and soul into the day and created so much of the details by hand, there were so many personal touches down to old photographs, boxes of tissues and the overall style was totally unique.  The day was lovely and laid back with guests eating sausage rolls whilst basking in the sunshine in deck chairs overlooking the river.  We made the group shots fun by taking them amongst the colourful and we snuck up to the top of the lighthouse for portraits and the view was to die for.  One thing, which sticks in my mind, was the amount of fun that was had by all, even before the speeches had started the prop box had been raided and dancing had begun, this lovely lot totally knew how to have a good time.  Thank you Katie & Russ for having us along it was a perfect London knees up and to see you laugh and cry surrounded by your nearest and dearest was a joy.  Finally cheers to the amazing Phillipa who was my right hand girl for this adventure (this is where I should not mention the police car, sat nav taking us the wrong side of the river and thanking god for your tinted windows!!) anyhow you were incredible.  So enough nattering here you go folks; this is me let loose in the smoke.
