Ruby’s Bar in Dalston is the coolest venue for this East London Wedding

16th November 2018

‘Thank you so very much for this! Today marks a year since Jim popped the question so we are going for dinner at our favourite restaurant. I was going to save the slideshow til we got in this eve as a surprise but couldn’t last the day! We watched it in bed this morning and had a good blub.  You are a bloody genius! You made everything so much easier and captured exactly what I wanted. You really are very talented not to mention totally lovely’ – Cat & Jim

One summers day I travelled up to Stoke Newington excited to see Cat & Jim get married.  They decided long ago to defy convention and decided to find an alternative.  An intimate ceremony followed by pie and pints in the pub to kick off the informal day.  Following lunch it was all hands on deck to head down to Ruby’s bar to set up for the evening do!  Cocktails, cheese and pineapple on sticks and dancing was the plan in their beloved bar that is at the end of their road.  The day happened just as planned, super laid back vibe with everything personal and unique to them.  Ample time to chat with all their family over lunch and share beautiful speeches.  The afternoon was chilled and Ruby’s kicked off with amazing homemade food killer choons to party all night with all their mates.  Mid afternoon in the down time we shot some portraits  in their flat  which was a really special and so personal to them, a cuppa tea and some quiet portraits suited the whole feel of the day.  I loved being witness to this intimate East London wedding.
