I remember the very first conversation I had with Tom about his hopes and plans for a relaxed wedding. Amy and Tom wanted a relaxed and intimate day that didn’t follow the norm. Tom is a designer so all the details were incredible and his mum even did the gorgeous flowers. Family and friends were integral to the day, both sets of parents walked into the ceremony before Tom and Amy to mark the significance and value of family. The day started with portraits and then a gorgeous drinks reception to welcome their guests. The ceremony was late afternoon and not a dry eye in the house just as it should be, so much emotion that was shared. Dinner, speeches and dancing is how they rolled for the rest of the day and it was effortless and relaxed. I always spare a few minutes in each part of the day to stop and be in the moment. I lower my camera and absorb the room, listen, observe the scene and tune in. Each time I did this I could see how much love there was in the room I could see one big web of love! Bring on the webs of love, good job I love spiders!
