So this is the final installment of the 3 part epic wedding of Anna & Rakesh. Following the wedding ceremony and the picnic in the paddock all the guests jumped aboard a beautiful vintage steam train for a ride through the beautiful sussex countryside. As the train chugged through the rolling hills, tea and coffee and yummy ice cream cones were served to the guests… the train stopped off at Sheffield Park where Anna’s class from the school where she teaches were waiting for her with baited breath. They were so excited to see her in her dress they were beyond happy to see their teacher in her wedding dress. After a quick pit stop in which Rakesh and the bestman fuelled the engine with coal {they were in boy heaven at this point} the train made it back to Horstead Keynes where the guests alighted from the train to head to the village hall for the evening do. At Holbrook Village hall their was pimms in the paddock and organ playing for the guests to enjoy, upon entering the hall I was gobsmacked. The details just blew me away; the flowers, the cake, the sweet dresser, the telephone and typewriter, oh and also the fudge and the sweets and badges for the guests were AMAZING, Anna had even painted the dresser and bought it especially for the occasion. This wedding was a total and utter labour of love, it was awesome beyond words the whole style from start to finish was unique and reflected Anna & Rakesh’s personalities. It was a great day meeting fab people, being in my beloved west sussex, shooting an alternative wedding… oh and in the sunshine life could not have got any better. Thanks goes out to Sue who helped second shoot this one with me…
